The aim of this course is to provide students with the knowledge and skills required to perform first, second and third-party audits of Information Security management systems against ISO/IEC 27001, in accordance with ISO 19011 and ISO/IEC 17021, as applicable.
This course is for those intending to acquire the competence to audit an organization’s Information Security Management Systems to meet the requirements of ISO 27001, either as a third or second-party auditor. Successful completion of this course meets the requirement for certification as an Auditor at IRCA. ISO 27001
The requirements of ISO/IEC 27001 (with ISO/IEC 27001 and the commonly used information security management terms and definitions, as given in ISO 27000, which may be gained by completing CQI and IRCA certified ISO 27001:2013 Foundation (ISMS) Training course or equivalent.
Duration: 40 hours* (Over 5 continuous days)
Time: 09:00am – 5:30 pm daily
Certificate of successful completion

Delegates, who satisfy the attendance requirements, pass the continuous assessments and the final examination will be awarded certificate of achievement.

Certificate of attendance

Delegates, who have not been successful in the examination / continuous assessment, but who satisfy the attendance requirements will be issued certificate of attendance Course Fee: N160,000 (Option of installment payment)

ISO 22000:2005 (Lead Auditor Course)

This course is focused on how to effectively audit food safety management systems against ISO 22000 standard. It teaches you the management systems approach to identifying and managing food safety risks, the requirements of ISO 22000 and how to plan, execute, report and follow up an FSMS audit.
The aim of this course is to provide delegates with the knowledge and skills required to perform first, second and third-party audits of Food Safety management systems (FSMS) against ISO 22000 in accordance with ISO 19011, ISO 22003 and ISO/IEC 17021, as applicable.

This course is for those intending to acquire the competence to audit an organisation's FSMS to meet the requirements of ISO 22000, either as a third or second-party auditor. What Prior Knowledge should I have?

Delegates taking this course are expected to have the following prior knowledge
  • Knowledge of the following Food Safety management principles and concepts
    • Implementing or operating a management system within a food sector context. This includes private schemes such as BRC, GLOBALGAP, FSSC and/or other schemes which include management system components.
    • Relevant key food safety legislation (this may be specific to Delegates' food industry context and location).
    • Knowledge of prerequisite programmes as specified in ISO/TS 22002-1.
    • Good Practice guides for Agriculture (GAP), Veterinary (GVP), Manufacturing (GMP), Hygiene (GHP), Production (GPP), Distribution (GDP) and/or Trading (GTP) depending on the segment of the food chain in which the student operates.
    • The principles of HACCP as defined by the Codex Alimentarius Commission
  • Knowledge of the requirements of ISO 22000 or acceptable equivalent, which may be gained by completing an IRCA certified FSMS Foundation Training course or equivalent

ISO 9001:2015 LEAD AUDITOR (QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM) TRAINING COURSE

This course is designed for you to understand the principles and practices of effective Quality Management System audits using a structured approach. You will be channeled through an end to end audit process from initiation to follow-up and closure. During the 5 days you will acquire knowledge and skills required to undertake and lead a successful quality management systems audit.
Students taking this course should have knowledge of: Management systems, including the core elements of a management system, the responsibilities of top management and the Plan, Do, Check, Act (PDCA) cycle The fundamental concepts of a quality management system and the seven quality management principles. The requirements of ISO 9001 and its commonly used quality management terms and definitions.

OSHAS 18001:2007 (Lead Auditor Course)

The aim of this course is to provide students with the knowledge and skills required to perform first, second and third-party audits of Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems (OH&SMS) against (BS) OHSAS 18001, in accordance with ISO 19011 and ISO/IEC 17021, as applicable. All references to ISO standards are to the current versions, unless stated otherwise.
This course is designed for you to understand the principles and practices of effective Occupational Health and Safety Management System audits using a structured approach. You will be channeled through an end to end audit process from initiation to follow-up and closure. During the 5 days you will acquire knowledge and skills required to undertake and lead a successful Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems audit.
Pre-requisite for attending this course:
  • Knowledge of the following occupational health & safety management principles and concepts:
    • The Plan, Do, Check, Act (PDCA) cycle
    • The purpose and benefits of a an occupational health and safety (OH&S) management system
    • A basic knowledge of managing occupational health and safety (OH&S) through hazard identification, risk assessment and risk control and compliance with legal and other requirements
    • A basic awareness of common examples of relevant national and local OH&S legislation and requirements.
    • Commonly used OH&S terms and definitions as given in OHSAS 18001
    • Knowledge of the requirements of OHSAS 18001, which may be gained by completing a CQI and IRCA Certified OHSAS 18001 Foundation (OH&S) training course or the equivalent.
